An absolute gem. Casa Cotos is a hidden oasis surrounded by stunning green hills and peaceful views. The meal was phenomenal — homemade, authentic, and served with genuine warmth. Between the incredible food, the laughter, and the beautiful people, it felt like being part of a family. One of my favorite places on the planet.

Enroute to Sobrado on a wet and cold morning, we had a much deserved pit stop for some wonderful sandwiches n cheese platter. Wet chairs were wiped down to accommodate us; some of us had muddied shoes and with the sun finally out - that warmth was glorious, much like the hospitality we received.

There was no cooked meal on the Monday we passed by. However, they prepared us a ham and cheese sandwich with an amazing bread and a home-made cheese that has us happy and satisfied. The cortado coffee was excellent too, with an aftertaste of hazelnuts.

It was the only place open on a Sunday after walking 25km that day. I was so grateful I was served a big cheese sandwich (fresh bread!) and a juice, which saved me on the Camino. The host was very friendly. I can only say thank you again!

Hemos pasado como peregrinos, recorriendo el Camino del Norte del Camino de Santiago, en la etapa de Parga a Sobrado dos Monxes, nos desviamos 300 metros (aunque en el cartel del desvío pone 150) y paramos a tomar unas bebidas y unos cafés. Nos dejaron comernos en la terraza la comida que llevábamos.

We passed by as pilgrims, walking the Northern Way of the Camino de Santiago, on the stage from Parga to Sobrado dos Monxes. We detoured 300 meters (although the detour sign says 150 meters) and stopped for a drink and a coffee. They let us eat the food we had brought on the terrace.

Anuncia greeted us in a very sweet way. After 17 km without a restaurant or cafe, three pilgrims arrived at Casa Cotos. She hadn't received any bread that day, but she still managed to prepare the best cheese and sausage board I've ever tried on the Camino. She was very kind, the place is dreamy and very warm. It's a 150-meter detour from the Camino (which after 700 km, nothing changes) and it's totally worth it ❤️

Ein echtes Kleinod auf dem Weg von Baamonde nach Sobrado. Hier sollte man ein Stop einlegen, da es in As Cruz keine Bar gibt. Sehr schön gelegen. Leckeres Essen. Nette Leute.

Como peregrinos, valió la pena salir del camino y vivir momentos de magia en este lugar. Buena cerveza, buena compañía, el quesero cuyo nombre no recuerdo nos invitó a una exquisita degustación. La señora amorosa que nos ofreció el mejor caldo de grelos que jamás he probado….. no duraría en volver desde Barcelona cuando regrese al paraísos llamado Galicia. No tengo palabras para agradecer tanta amabilidad, cariño y atención. Le prometí una reseña para que los peregrinos hicieran cola en su puerta y aquí la tiene. As pilgrims, it was worth going off the beaten path and experiencing magical moments in this place. Good beer, good company, the cheesemaker whose name I forget invited us to an exquisite tasting. The lovely lady who offered us the best turnip greens broth I've ever tasted... I wouldn't hesitate to return from Barcelona when I return to the paradise called Galicia. I have no words to express my gratitude for such kindness, affection, and attention. I promised her a review so pilgrims would line up at her door, and here it is. PILGRIM, IT'S WORTH THE 150m DETOUR.

Un sitio precioso! La gente muy agradable y la comida espectacular y a muy buen precio, eso sí tiene que ser por encargo pero merece mucho la pena.

Fui con mi pareja y su familia que se lo habían recomendado unos amigos, me pareció un sitio muy tranquilo con un buen ambiente. Tanto la comida como el servicio muy buenos y la verdad es que yo también lo recomiendo.
